2021 Chardonnay

The grapes for the 2021 Chardonnay were grown at Jubilee Vineyard on the western slope of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Most of this wine comes from the Mt Eden Clone, which was chosen to be planted on this site for its ability to express the unique terroir of cooler climate vineyards. To highlight the natural character of Chardonnay from the Pacific Northwest, this wine was fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels.

This wine features flavors of lemon, citrus, chamomile, and a wet stone minerality. The cooler climate of this region helps it retain its natural acidity, giving it a refreshing crispness and vibrant energy on the palate. Aging on the lees adds a rounder, creamy consistency.
